The Alien Within: 20 – Promotions & Cocktails
The Pre-Treatment Consultation…
It seems The Alien Within has scared off my consultant oncologist!
She has been promoted to Director of Peterborough City Hospital and, consequently, does not have time to spare for her previous clinics. These have been handed off to a very convivial Irish Doctor, introduced to us this afternoon at our scheduled pre-treatment consultation.

My weight appears to be comfortably stable, although not for too long if I keep eating like a horse as I did this evening!
Tomorrow, something a little bit the same, but different; I am back at PCH first thing, but this time it is for a follow up appointment for my squiffy eye, which appears to be not quite as squiffy now. One thing I must try and remember to do, is ask whether this condition has a medical term other than squiffy…
