The Alien Within: 38 – Unlocked & Confined
Rain Stops Play…
Showers, or so the Weather App suggested! I understood showers to mean rain interrupted by intervals without precipitation.
However, it rained from very early morning until about mid afternoon, 1500hrs ish. Has to be one of the longest ‘showers’. I suppose, in some ways, rain is a good thing, for me at least, as it does mean I cannot get up to much and lockdown is easier to stomach.
Although, when it did finally cease, I nipped out for walkies with Benson, somewhat earlier than his usual. Within minutes of arriving back at the homestead, the rain started once more, great timing.
Another really quiet day with nothing out of e ordinary to write about. The fluffy tummy continues to gurgle away and did feel a little bloaty and rather sore after dinner this evening. But aside from that and the minor regulars, it seems things are slowly returning to normal, whatever that is!
I certainly feel like energy levels are recovering, easily recognised when I am walking Benson.
Good timing too, as I am off the Cambridge tomorrow for my PET Scan visit to Addenbrookes. I would not fancy doing that trip in the less than perfick condition I was in a few days ago.
And, once the A14 has been negotiated, if I can then park once I get there that is!
Fingers crossed then…
NEXT: Cycle 2 – Day 16
I LOVE a nice, rainy day inside… glad you’re feeling a bit better. Sending LOTS of good vibes for a good PET scan. xoxo
Thanks Catkin – the scan was certainly different to those I have had previously! Hopefully I will get to see some pics of it… 🙂 x x
